In a world were all is sameness, when you cant choose your jobs, spouce or to see colors; all in black and white every person has an special job for them, you can be a laborer, birthmother, medic and the reciever. This book tell about a boy who had turned twelve and recieve the assigment to get the memories of their ancestors where he discover colors, holydays, pain, love and choices. When Jonas planned to get out of the community so they can get the memories again, I think it was very brave to do something so risky so people can get good and bad memories but at the same time to dont all be sameness without choices. So thats why I think was a big decision also what if it didnt suceed, all of what he had left was in problems. And the love of Jonas to others like to G...
